La Planete Sauvage (Fantastic Planet) is the 1973 animated motion sci-fi flick by Rene Laloux, where the oversized blue humanoids (the Draags) battle the human race (the Oms) on the psychedelic landscape of planet Ygam.  Alain Goraguer masterfully composed this soundtrack to the likes of many artists including 606 Records fave and Madlib alter-ego (Quasimoto).  La Planete Sauvage is an essential viewing and listening experience no doubt!
